Jack Perry is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, and Professional Plan Consultant® with more than 41 years of experience in the financial services industry. As founder and President of Perry Wealth Management—an independent, fee-based investment advisory firm affiliated with LPL Financial—Jack has built a practice grounded in fiduciary responsibility, personalized financial planning, and disciplined investment management. His career spans four decades of deep engagement with clients, professional associations, and the broader advisory community.

A committed advocate for the financial planning profession, Jack has served in several leadership roles with the Financial Planning Association of Greater Indiana, including as Chapter President. During his presidency, he spearheaded a number of significant initiatives: a partnership with the Indiana State Teachers Retirement Fund to deliver pro bono financial planning counsel to its members; the inaugural Indianapolis Financial Planning Day, a first-of-its-kind community event; a national joint program developed in collaboration with the FPA, the National Council of Mayors, and Mayor Greg Ballard’s office; and a joint initiative with the Indiana Secretary of State to advance the fiduciary standard in financial services. Jack remains a steadfast champion of the fiduciary standard—the principle that an advisor’s obligation is always to act in the client’s best interest.

Jack’s investment philosophy has been anchored in Closed-End Funds (CEFs) and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) throughout most of his career—a specialization that has earned him recognition in prominent financial media, including the Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times. He has also been featured in the Indianapolis Star’s Financial Makeover series. Jack integrates CEFs and ETFs into risk-appropriate, individually tailored portfolios. There are risks inherent in any investment, including the possible loss of principal. There can be no assurance that the objectives of ETFs and closed-end funds will be achieved.

Alongside his investment work, Jack provides comprehensive, fee-based financial planning services designed to address the full scope of each client’s financial life. He takes a holistic approach—evaluating cash flow, risk management, retirement readiness, estate considerations, and tax efficiency—to craft strategies that are uniquely personalized to the individual. Jack believes that a well-constructed financial plan is the cornerstone of lasting financial confidence.

Jack is also a recognized resource for corporate and not-for-profit retirement plans. He has presented retirement planning workshops for major employers including Allison Transmission, Rolls-Royce Corporation, and the U.S. Army Federal Finance Service Center. His work in this area focuses on helping businesses design and implement cost-effective retirement plans that serve participants well while functioning as meaningful recruiting and retention tools for the organization. Jack takes particular care to ensure that business owners and plan sponsors understand their obligations under ERISA, DOL, and IRS guidelines. He implements a structured, ongoing process to help plan fiduciaries manage their responsibilities and limit fiduciary liability. Jack offers access to 3(21) and 3(38) investment fiduciary services as well as 3(16) fiduciary administrative services.

In addition to his professional designations, Jack holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations through LPL Financial, and is licensed in Life and Health insurance. His combination of credentials, industry experience, and community leadership reflects a career built on trust, expertise, and an unwavering commitment to his clients’ financial well-being.
